हरि सर्वोत्तम । वायु जीवोत्तम | श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः
गोपालकृष्णम् सुगुणाभिरामम् व्यासस्य हस्तात् प्रतिगृह्य मध्वः ।
समर्चयामास महाविभोगैः ब्रह्मा यथा रङ्गपतिं स्वतातं ||
Having received (प्रतिगृह्य) the virtuous and delightful form (सुगुणाभिरामम्) of Lord Gopalakrishna (गोपालकृष्णम्) from the hands (हस्तात्) of Lord Veda Vyasa (व्यासस्य), Acharya Madhva (मध्वः) worshipped Him devoutly (समर्चयामास) with grand offerings (महाविभोगैः), just as (यथा) Brahma (ब्रह्मा) does to his father (स्वतातं), the Lord of the Universe, Ranganatha (रङ्गपतिं).
