हरि सर्वोत्तम । वायु जीवोत्तम | श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः
अनीनदत् पद्म-भवो मृदङ्गं जगौ हनूमान् जगताम्-अधीशं ।
अदर्शयत् ताल-गतीः कपर्दी ननर्त गोपालक-बाल-मौलिः ॥
Brahma, the Lotus-born (पद्मभव) performed (अनीनदत्) on the tonal drum (मृदङ्गम्), the learned and well-versed Hanuman (हनूमान्) sang (जगौ) about the Supreme Lord of the Universe (जगतामधीशं), Shiva of matted hair (कपर्दी) rendered (आदर्शयत्) the cadence of rhythm (तालगतिः), to which Lord Gopalakrishna, the foremost gem (मौलि) of the cowherd boys (गोपालकबाल), danced (ननर्त) on Kaliya.
